Hümanette is Kansas City's first kinder cafe. Designed with parents, as well as kids, in mind. We are a space for kids to play, learn, and explore, for caregivers to reclaim a little of their time (and sanity). We're also a place to build community, foster relationships with other families, celebrate the big (and little) milestones, and for the whole family to have
a LITTLE more fun.

We loved our play session at Humanette! It was a perfect play place for my toddler and infant. We could have stayed here all day! I love that they have a nursing room for moms who need it. We will be back again soon!

We had my daughter’s 2nd birthday party here. Jamie was great to work with and the kids had a blast! I didn’t have to do any work and the staff was all amazing. We also love going just for play time during the week! Great addition to Brookside.

This play cafe is so spacious! I’ve been to several other play cafes in the KC metro area, and this one is the most spacious and prettiest one I’ve been to.
Workers were friendly and the parking wasn’t bad (I live in the ‘burbs, so I always get nervous about street parking). Probably my favorite thing about it: all of my kids were entertained. My oldest is 9 and youngest is 3, and it’s really hard to find places that allow both ages and entertain both ages.

Such an amazing spot! Humanette was so spacious and had so many fun things to keep my 2.5 year old entertained. The space is so well designed, from the different rooms to the cafe and the seating (for when you get a chance to sit for a few moments). The woman working during our visit was so friendly and helpful! I will definitely be back and will be mentioning the space to everyone I know with kids!
